How to remove mould growing on the soil/seed origin of a bonsai plant?
I got given a wisteria bonsai growing kit as a welcome home present. I am a total plant and gardening beginner and have no idea about anything so I looked up some basic tips on growing bonsai seeds, and read something about keeping it very well watered, so I did it a lot. That's literally all i've done, the plant sits on my window sill and gets daily sunshine. The seeds germinated well and the plants seem to be growing really nicely now but one of them in the same pot as the other had a bit of mould growing on the seed that germinated and it's still there. The plants seem to be okay though, and as far as I can tell are healthy, but I'm wondering if the mould will do any damage later on, and more importantly if there's a simple way of getting rid of it? I looked at a couple of gardening sites and stuff and the tips were all about soil ph and crazy advanced gardening stuff I just don't get. Is there a simple way of just getting rid of it and ensuring it doesnt come back? Any help would be very much appreciated for this lowly gardening dummy.
How do I assure my bonsai's safety?
I just got a bunch of black pine seeds in the mail along with the right dirt, pot, draining pebbles. I only got a meager collection of instructions. I have looked around and pieced together that it will take awhile for my seeds to sprout. Additionally, the type of seed I bought luckily is harder to screw up than others, but I still am not sure about growing seasons and what I should do in my plant's early years. So, I am in Pennsylvania and it's pretty hot right now. In the winter, obviously, it gets cold as well what with snow and frost. Should I leave my plant out for the summer and fall and take it in for the winter or leave it outside until the spring?Right now my seeds are planted in accordance with the instructions they came with pebbles, dirt, seeds, a bit more dirt . They are in a mini greenhouse thing that the kit came with. So some sagely advice?
My bonsai tree is dying?
I know my tree isn't dead yet as it still has one green shoot, but all the leafs have fallen off and the moss stuff on the base of the trunk has gone. It hasn't been over or under watered, and it doesn't look diseased. Any ideas on how I can save it?

I need help with my new bonsai tree?
I recently got a bonsai tree for my birthday. It's a Chinese Elm. For the first week, when, honestly, I had no idea what I was doing, I kept it on my desk which was rather shadowy. After reading about bonsai trees I moved it near the window in the sunlight. Then, leaves started drying out. I thought it was a normal process, so I pruned all the bad leaves. But now, there is a discoloration like a yellow line. Yellowish . And I also noticed a new greenish tint on its root. I have no idea what to do or what is happening to my tree. Its leaves are dying. Does anyone know what I should be doing?

Is it hard to train bonsai trees?
I really like bonsai trees and thought it would be cool to grow my own and maybe sell them too. I know it takes along time but was wondering if it is something easily done in your spare time.
When do I start trimming my bonsai?
I planted my black pine seeds a little while ago, I know it takes a few weeks to germinate. Just to plan for the future, when do I need to start trimming the plant? Is there a certain height or is there a specific age. Plus, I live in Pennsylvania, should I take my tree in for the winter?
What do I plant my bonsai seedling in?
I bought a Bonsai kit with bonsai seeds at Urban Outfitters for $14, and while they give me all of the soil and necessary items for a bonsai, what I didn't account for is that I have TWELVE seedlings growing, not just one. Now I'll need to buy more pots and get some soil and fertilizer I'll be giving some away to friends I can't bear to throw them out , but I don't know what kind I should get.I've been trying to do research on the Bonsai, but it seems like each tree needs a different type of soil as a seedling...It's a Blue Colorado Spruce bonsai seedling. Any suggestions? I know it's a mixture of 70 % of something and 30 % something else...Because it's a pine bonsai, I think the soil mixture has to be mostly dry? Please help me Thank you
