Hello, I have several ficus and I would have to say that they are one of the most resilient bonsai trees there are. The primary reason on why the leaves on the ficus are turning yellow and falling is because despite the fact that the tree is resilient it does not react well to being moved. If you can, find a place in your home close to a window where the tree can be placed. I have had several of my trees drop every single leaf after being moved and miraculously all of the leaves came back. Just don't forget to give the tree enough water and when the opportunity presents itself (spring/ summer) take the tree outdoors, after all it is a tree. |
