I just bought a ficus bonsai tree, does this tree ever have flowers?

I kept a ficus for 20 years and never saw flowers. It may need a pollinator? If you can find one, try a surnam cherry, they have pretty flowers and get cherries (inedible) on them.

No ficus species that I know of used for bonsai has flowers.
