What is the best way to get the glued rocks off this poor ficus bonsai plant.?
I was in walmart yesterday and fell prey to this really cute supposed bonsai plant. I researched through the web and found out that it was in fact not a true bonsai, which i all ready suspected. But I bought it and I will take care of it. I read somewhere that because they glue these rocks on the top of the plant soil, it's highly likely that the plant will die. So I want to get the rocks off and replant it in a little bigger pot with better soil, but the rocks are really on there. what is the best way to do this.there is a picture of it on my 360 page made available throu my yahoo answers profile if you want to see for yourself. through what i have learned on the net, it's called a ficus. please feel free to look at it.

Repot a Ficus Bonsai in winter?
I live in wisconsin and we are in mid going on to late winter. Would I be ok re potting my ficus ginseng bonsai? The roots are starting to pop out of the soil and it's getting harder to tell how moist the soil is. A few of the leaves on the lower part of the tree are turning yellow and dying, which didn't happen in summer.I have never re potted a tree before, so if anyone wants to help me with the procedure, I would appreciate it. Right now it's in a deeper pot 3" deep and the new bonsai pot is 2.5" . How much of the roots should I trim? I also heard I should leave it out of direct sunlight for a while afterwards.
Do Ginseng Ficus Bonsai Trees go through a dormancy state like other bonsai trees in winter?
I was thinking about getting a Ginseng Ficus Bonsai tree from Home Depot because I've heard that they're easy to care for but I've never had one before so I'm not sure if they go through a dormancy state in winter. I've been looking up information about it on the internet but I can't seem to find anything about what to do with it in winter other than not to let it be in cold temperatures.
