A few people said they are Chinese Junipers but there are so many sub species if your a bonsai guru please help so I can give it the proper care and maintenance. All the info you can help with is appreciated, including wiring ideas. http:/ / i16.photobucket.com/ albums/ b8/ mattrfg/ 100_0755.jpg http:/ / i16.photobucket.com/ albums/ b8/ mattrfg/ 100_0756.jpg

Yes, definitely Junipers. Possible Blue Star juniper - but really, it doesn't matter what subspeicies, because ALL junipers like the same conditions. Do you don't have to worry about it's particular name. All junipers want FULL SUN. They can be tricky to do as houseplants. I see them most successfully grown as outside plants. They will need a lot of attention, as they need water more often than plants in the ground - since they can't draw on the moisture in the earth. I recommend getting library books or videos on Bonsai care for the pruning. It's really hard to explain without pictures. Plus, there are different techniques. Books are great for that (flip through to make sure they have LOTS of photographs). Looks like yours are fairly well trained already, though. They probably won't need wiring, just pruning as they grow.
