Question: Need help with a chinese elm tree bonsai...?

I received it as a gift but it does not seem to be doing very well. The first couple of days was fine but its been 9 days now and its started badly wilting and generally looking worse for wear. I did have it on a table in my room but I've moved it over to the window which is open all through the day. I think its a bit cold to put outside as its about - 3 at night here and not much above that during the day. What is my best course of action to save the little guy.

Your elm will die if left inside. Take it outside, put mulch around pot or dig a hole and bury the pot. It will not die outside, but will be dead in 4 weeks if let inside. As spring comes around and you see it start to bud, pull it out and set it on your stand. Once you repot and root prune next year, expect more growth. Go to library and get more info so you don't kill tree!!! Now go drink a beer and relax.
