Bonsai - my ilex (holly) bonsai tree leaves are withering (pics included)?
the leaves have got all dry and have started to bend inwards and a few have started to drop offis it because of the posistion i place it on a windowsill which gets quite a lot of sun, as there are no buildings near there to block the sun for some of the day.or is it due to watering... too much or too little. a few days ago i placed it in a shallow sink of water for 10 minutes and everyday i spray it with water on the leaves and make sure the surface of the soil is moist.do i need to feed it? i have only had it for about 3 weeks, and i have just bought some bonsai liquid feeder. i havent put it on yet but i am about to. and il see wether that makes a difference.thanks for the advice as i am a beginner in bonsai.heres the link to the pics s933.photobucket.com albums ad180 darcyc121 ?action view& current SNC01447.jpgs933.photobucket.com albums ad180 darcyc121 ?action view& current SNC01445.jpg

When do I start trimming my bonsai?
I planted my black pine seeds a little while ago, I know it takes a few weeks to germinate. Just to plan for the future, when do I need to start trimming the plant? Is there a certain height or is there a specific age. Plus, I live in Pennsylvania, should I take my tree in for the winter?

Help with bonsai plant, is it dying?
I have a bonsai plant that my dad got at Disney World back in April. I've had it indoors all the time and notice it was turning brown and I moved it outside. Since I've moved it outside it's been out there for a couple weeks it's grown more leafs and looked really healthy. During this past week the tips of the leaves have been turning brown and falling off. I water it almost every day when the soil is dry . It's been raining an awful late lately so I wonder if the humidity is effecting it. I don't know if it's normal for this to happen or if I'm doing something wrong.

Juniper Bonsai? Help!?
Okay so i just got my very first bonsai tree today D its a juniper and i have absolutely no idea how to care for it. I've been researching online and it says that you need to create a 'winter' for it by keeping it in temperatures less than 50 degrees farenheit 30 celcius during the winter season... however i dont think i can keep it anywhere less than 65 farenheit 18 celcius . Will this be ok or will the tree die? Also how much direct sunlight does it need? If i keep it on my dresser directly accross from my window but theres a tree right outside my window that covers alot of sun will this be enough or do i need to find somewhere with more sun?
